OXVA takes its VPrime subohm pod and gives it a serious upgrade with the VPrime 2. More enduring, still capable of reaching up to 60 W and equipped with new Dual Mesh cartridges, it is clearly aimed at RDL and DTL vapers who want plenty of power without carrying around a huge box mod.
Its large 3400 mAh built-in battery is paired with a 0.98" colour TFT screen, adjustable airflow and two Eco and Boost modes. Most importantly, the VPrime 2 keeps a feature that is still relatively unusual on such an airy pod: automatic draw activation. You can therefore trigger the vapour simply by inhaling or use the Fire button, depending on your preference.
The kit includes two 6 mL VPrime Dual Mesh cartridges in 0.4 and 0.6 ohm. In Eco mode, only one Mesh is used. Switch to Boost and both Mesh strips come into action to increase power and vapour production.

With the VPrime 2, OXVA sticks to a formula that works: combining the power and vapour production of a traditional subohm e-cigarette with a much more compact pod format.
The body keeps its rounded shape for a comfortable grip despite the large built-in battery. Measuring 113 x 41 x 28 mm, it remains relatively compact for a device capable of delivering 60 W and housing a 6 mL tank.
OXVA also offers several finishes to give the VPrime 2 a more refined look than a basic plastic pod. It therefore remains portable while clearly embracing its more powerful and premium positioning.
The VPrime 2 features a 0.98" colour TFT screen that lets you keep an eye on the main operating information.
You can check the selected power, active mode, battery level and cartridge information. The interface therefore keeps operation simple despite the many possibilities offered by the Dual Mesh system.

The VPrime 2 mainly introduces the new VPrime Dual Mesh cartridges. Their key feature is the inclusion of two independent Mesh heating strips inside a single cartridge.
The pod then determines how many Mesh strips to activate depending on the selected mode:
To switch between Eco and Boost modes, press the button four times quickly. The pod then automatically adjusts its available power range to the installed cartridge.
Once you have selected your mode, you can still adjust the wattage within the available range to fine-tune your vape while avoiding settings that are unsuitable for the coil being used.
The pod also features adjustable airflow, making it easy to change the openness of the draw according to your preference.
By combining mode, power and airflow, the VPrime 2 therefore makes it easy to adapt your experience from RDL to a more open DTL vape.
One of the VPrime 2's handy extras is its dual activation system. You can use the Fire button in the usual way, but you can also take advantage of auto-draw.
With auto-draw, there is no need to press anything: simply inhale and the pod automatically activates the coil. This is common on small MTL pods, but much less so on a device capable of delivering up to 60 W.

Running a Dual Mesh cartridge at up to 60 W naturally requires a fair amount of energy. OXVA therefore equips the VPrime 2 with a generous 3400 mAh built-in battery.
Actual battery life will of course depend on your power setting, selected mode and vaping frequency. A 0.6 ohm cartridge used at around twenty watts in Eco mode will draw far less power than a 0.4 ohm cartridge pushed to 60 W in Boost mode.
For charging, the VPrime 2 uses a USB-C port compatible with 5V/3A. A welcome fast-charging option considering the battery capacity.

Two VPrime Dual Mesh cartridges are included in the kit. Their behaviour changes significantly depending on whether you use Eco or Boost mode. And that is without forgetting OXVA's Unitech 3.0 technology, designed to deliver excellent flavour whichever mode you use.
When you switch to Boost, both Mesh strips operate simultaneously:
The 0.6 ohm version is therefore the more versatile choice if you want to alternate between a relatively moderate vape and much more generous vapour production.
In Boost mode:
The 0.4 ohm version is clearly intended for vapers who enjoy using more power and producing plenty of vapour.
The new cartridges feature a particularly generous 6 mL tank. That capacity is especially useful on a pod capable of operating at up to 60 W, as high-power DTL vaping naturally consumes more e-liquid.
The coils are built directly into the cartridges. When a burnt taste appears or flavour and vapour production begin to decrease, simply replace the entire cartridge.
Good news for users of the first model: the VPrime 2 remains compatible with standard VPrime cartridges as well as the new VPrime Dual Mesh cartridges.
You can therefore continue using your existing cartridges. However, you will not be able to take advantage of the new Eco/Boost management offered by the Dual Mesh cartridges.
Because it manages to deliver a genuinely powerful subohm vape without sacrificing the simplicity of the pod format. The 3400 mAh battery provides enough capacity to make full use of the 60 W output, while auto-draw lets you trigger a puff at any time simply by inhaling.
The Dual Mesh cartridges are obviously the other major selling point. Being able to switch from one Mesh strip to two in just a few clicks genuinely changes the vaping experience without requiring a cartridge change.
Add a 6 mL tank, adjustable airflow, 3A charging and compatibility with older VPrime cartridges, and the VPrime 2 becomes a particularly complete pod for cloud lovers who do not necessarily want to go back to a traditional box mod.
