With dimensions of 92 × 55 × 30.8 mm, it remains relatively compact for a dual-18650 box mod capable of reaching 220W, while keeping a wide enough platform for larger atomisers (do not exceed 24.5 mm in diameter at the base of your clearomiser for a flush setup).
The non-slip coating improves grip, while the original colour options give the box mod plenty of personality.
On the Armour Octa, robustness is not just about looks. Vaporesso backs up its reinforced construction with several levels of protection designed to better withstand the elements and everyday mishaps.
Enough to face rain, dusty environments or those inevitable drops with a little more peace of mind.
The IP certifications are only part of the work Vaporesso has put into the Armour Octa. The box mod also features several protective elements directly integrated into its design.
The USB-C port is protected by a silicone cover, while the TPU areas help absorb impacts more effectively. The non-slip surface also helps prevent unfortunate slips.
The Overtime Protection 2.0 system monitors abnormally long or repeated activations. An extra safety feature in case the box decides to fire at the wrong moment inside a pocket or bag.
With a maximum output of 220W, the Armour Octa has more than enough power to run the most common sub-ohm clearomisers and rebuildable atomisers.

The essential information remains visible on the 0.96" colour TFT display, while a dedicated switch allows you to lock the box quickly before putting it away.
The Armour Octa runs on two 18650 batteries (not included). This setup provides both strong battery life and the power required for more demanding configurations.
The Battery Guard system monitors the voltage difference between the two cells and can interrupt operation if the difference becomes too large. One more way to keep an eye on the pair powering your box mod.
Direct charging is possible via USB-C up to 5V / 2.5A, with overheating protection.
Good to know: although the Armour Octa allows the batteries to be charged directly via USB-C, we recommend using a dedicated external charger for more suitable charging and better battery monitoring.

The available power and format of the Armour Octa make it particularly well suited to sub-ohm clearomisers and rebuildable atomisers designed for RDL or DTL vaping.
You can therefore build your setup around your own preferences: dense vapour, low-resistance coils, open airflow or a rebuildable configuration. Buying the box mod on its own gives you complete freedom to choose the tank that suits you.
