VDLV

VDLV: when French vaping goes to the laboratory

Behind the four letters VDLV stands Vincent Dans Les Vapes, but above all a company that has long since moved beyond the small e-liquid laboratory stage. From its site in Cestas, Gironde, the manufacturer now brings together research, formulation, analysis, production and packaging in order to maintain tight control over its products.

A very VDLV approach: plenty of science, plenty of checks and, for our taste buds, a few flavourists to combine safety with enjoyment.

French expertise from leaf to bottle

E-liquids developed and manufactured in Cestas

VDLV has chosen fully integrated French production. Its e-liquids are developed and manufactured at its site in Gironde, where the manufacturer controls the different stages from formulation through to packaging.

This organisation also allows it to ensure precise traceability of raw materials and finished products. Bases, flavourings and preparations are checked and analysed throughout the manufacturing process. In short, before reaching your clearomiser, the liquid has already sat a few exams.

Nicotine Vapologique®: an in-house speciality

This is probably one of VDLV’s most interesting particularities. Since 2017, the manufacturer has extracted and purified its own Nicotine Vapologique® in France, specifically developed for vaping products.

This nicotine is obtained from tobacco grown in France using a process developed according to the principles of green chemistry. VDLV therefore controls a stage that the vast majority of e-liquid manufacturers leave to external suppliers: producing the nicotine itself.

When we tell you they like to keep everything under control.

Vapology as a philosophy

VDLV uses the term vapology to describe its scientific approach to vaping. Behind the fancy word is above all a desire to select ingredients suited to inhalation, study formulations and precisely control the products it manufactures.

The manufacturer notably relies on chromatographic, microbiological and physicochemical analyses, as well as traceability throughout the various production stages. This level of rigour has played a major part in establishing VDLV as one of the historic names in French e-liquid and in developing AFNOR-certified products.

Cirkus, Vincent and OSWEET: three ways to discover VDLV

A laboratory is all well and good. E-liquids that actually taste good are even better. Over the years, VDLV has developed several brands with very different personalities.

Cirkus: the big flavour playground

With Cirkus, VDLV explores a very broad range of flavours. Tobacco blends, fruits, mints and more indulgent recipes: the range above all focuses on variety and flavour balance.

It is a bit like the Swiss Army knife of the VDLV house. Which, for a French brand sold on Freevap.ch, somehow feels rather appropriate.

Vincent: back to basics

Vincent represents another historic side of the manufacturer. The range notably highlights the use of natural flavourings and a more streamlined approach to recipes. A way to rediscover VDLV’s roots and its taste for carefully crafted formulations.

OSWEET: when the researchers look to the stars

More recent and far more cosmic, OSWEET shows that VDLV has no intention of living solely on its classics. This fruity range uses neotame to work differently on the perception of sweetness and give the flavours more depth.

Between Green Pulsar, Red Giant and Supernova, the Cestas laboratory has treated itself to a little trip through space. The white coat, however, remains compulsory.

Why choose a VDLV e-liquid?

Choosing VDLV means first and foremost choosing a manufacturer that controls its entire production process. From recipe creation and manufacturing to analysis and even nicotine extraction, the company has built its identity around traceability, research and Made in France expertise.

Fortunately, all this technical know-how does not mean anyone has to vape something that tastes like a laboratory experiment. Cirkus, Vincent and OSWEET let you explore very different worlds, from the most classic to the most modern.
