The recipe starts with a rather smooth blonde classic, with the familiar profile sought after by fans of traditional flavours. But as the puff develops, the faux bourdon reveals its true colours.
A note of coffee brings a slightly bold roasted nuance, soon wrapped in a rounder, more indulgent praline. The classic remains clearly present and keeps the whole recipe from turning into a pure dessert flavour.
The result strikes a lovely balance between classic and indulgence: familiar enough for an all-day vape, but with that little something extra that makes you want to come back and rummage through the hive again.
Like the other e-liquids in the Le Grand Rôle des Abeilles range, Le Faux Bourdon uses a 100% plant-based base, made with plant-derived monopropylene glycol and vegetable glycerine.
This composition generally provides a rounder, smoother throat sensation than a conventional base while maintaining good flavour delivery. A particularly interesting choice for vapers sensitive to traditional propylene glycol, or simply for those looking for a gentler sensation when inhaling.
Le Faux Bourdon contains 50 mL of nicotine-free e-liquid in a 75 mL bottle. The remaining space allows you to easily add one or more boosters depending on your needs.
If you do not want to add nicotine, you can also top up the bottle with neutral base, or simply vape the e-liquid as it is if you are happy with its flavour intensity.
Good to know: the flavourings in this e-liquid are boosted to preserve good intensity after adding boosters or base. However, we recommend not adding more than 20 mL in total to avoid diluting the flavours too much. After adding booster or base, remember to shake the bottle thoroughly to ensure the mixture is well blended before vaping.
With its 40PG/60VG ratio, Le Faux Bourdon contains slightly more vegetable glycerine. Its texture is therefore a little thicker and better suited to an e-cigarette designed for RDL vaping, capable of providing generous e-liquid flow while maintaining good flavour precision.
To fully enjoy its blonde classic profile and indulgent notes of coffee and praline, we recommend using a coil between 0.4 and 0.8 ohm. This range generally offers a good balance between flavour, smoothness and vapour production, without pushing the power unnecessarily high.
