Ehuka X1 electronic shisha kit: an effective and well thought-out design

In this kit, you'll find the Ehuka X1 podmod a nice little pod measuring 81 × 31 × 22 mm that can be used as your everyday e-cigarette. It features an OLED display to keep an eye on the status of your vape and make your adjustments. To accompany this pod, the Ehuka holder, complete with hose, mouthpiece, and a water tank that makes all the difference.

Bubbles for more immersion

A huge highlight of the Ehuka X1 kit, its PCTG water tank that wonderfully reproduces the sensations of traditional shisha. All you have to do is fill it with water. A small indicator on the tank shows you the maximum water level. The draw, the noise, it's all there!

Chef's little tip: if too much vapour builds up in your tank, slightly unscrew the air outlet above the Ehuka X1 and gently blow into the pipe.

When we talk shisha, of course we expect a surge of vapour. Rest assured, the Ehuka pod delivers on that score. It's got no shortage of watts and a battery ready to take puff after puff. With its ultra-simplified operation, even beginners won't be able to mess up.

Adjustable power without risk

With a power range from 5 to 60 W, the Ehuka X1 pod lets you adjust its wattage precisely. To take the guesswork out of adjustment, Ehuka has installed a Smart option that blocks the wattage increase when the maximum power supported by your resistor is reached.

A battery made for long e-shisha sessions

As well as the watts, the Ehuka X1's battery has some great shisha sessions in store with its 2000 mAh autonomy. Once flat, the pod recharges very quickly thanks to its USB-C port, which supports a fast charge of 2A (cable supplied). Small note though, you can't use the Ehuka X1 pod in shisha mode while recharging.

Ehuka X1 e-shisha kit: the cartridge of excess

A symbol of excess, the Ehuka X1 kit continues its guiding line with its cartridge. Hold on to your hats, this is heavy stuff. A tank of 10 ml of e-liquid, yes, you saw right, 10 ml of juice in one fill. The innovation doesn't stop there, as you'll also find a cartridge with integrated resistance of 0.2 ohm, never before has a pod with integrated coil been so subohm. In this kit, you'll also get an Ehuka 0.3 ohm cartridge to take advantage of a slightly tighter draw. Ehuka cartridges are armed with mesh resistors delivering punchy flavours, Ehuka advise you to use e-liquids with 70% GV for the most sumptuous rendition.

• Ehuka 0.20 ohm cartridge: DTL draw - usable between 5 and 60 W - ratio PG/VG 30/70 - maximum recommended nicotine rates up to 6 mg/ml.
• Ehuka 0.30 ohm cartridge: DTL draw - usable between 5 and 40 W - ratio PG/VG 30/70 - maximum recommended nicotine rates up to 6 mg/ml.

The resistors aren't replaceable, so once they're out of order, the whole cartridge has to be replaced. Fortunately, you can stock up on Ehuka cartridges directly from Freevap.

Ehuka cartridge refill

• Remove the cartridge from the pod.
• Open the silicone tab then fill with e-liquid.
• A little patience, 10 ml is a bit long.
• Close the tab.
• Put back the cartridge on the pod.

Replacing the Ehuka cartridge

• Remove the used cartridge.
• Install a new cartridge.
• Caution: if the coil is new, prime it well by letting it soak in e-liquid for 10 minutes before vaping. If you feel a decrease in flavours or a burnt taste, it's time to change the resistance.

How to use the Ehuka X1 e-shisha kit

• Connect the tips to the ends of the tube.
• Fasten the shorter mouthpiece to the side of the Ehuka X1 shisha.
• Remove the Ehuka X1 head to access the water tank.
• Fill the water tank to the indicator (about halfway).
• Replace the Ehuka X1 head on the reservoir.
• Remove the pod and its cartridge from the Ehuka X1 head.
• Proceed to refill the cartridge.
• Replace the cartridge on the pod.
• Press the button above the screen five times to turn on the device.
• Adjust the power according to the resistance using the “+ -” buttons below the screen.
• Replace the pod with its cartridge on the Ehuka X1 head.
