Si vous ne fumez pas, ne vapez pas
They are becoming almost as rare as centaurs (yes, centaurs did exist), but what a pleasure it is to see a proper dual-battery box mod packed with watts appear in this sea of pods. Sure, pods are nice, but they quickly show their limits when it comes to producing some seriously big clouds.
Lost Vape answers the call with the Centaurus M200 box mod, a powerhouse ready to push all the way up to 200... yep mate, you read that right, 200 watts under the bonnet. Stick in its two 18650 batteries (not included), screw on your finest clearomiser and let the festivities begin. We are not here to mess about.
Alongside its impressive performance, the Lost Vape Centaurus M200 allows itself a few aesthetic flourishes with bold colour options and an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy body. This material gives it a seriously aggressive metal look while keeping the weight down to just 152 g without batteries.

Lost Vape certainly has not been stingy with the watts here, as the Centaurus M200 can reach up to 200 watts. More than enough to enjoy some seriously airy vaping sessions that might leave you feeling dizzy. That kind of extravagance naturally requires plenty of energy, which is why this Lost Vape mod runs on two 18650 batteries (not included). To manage this avalanche of power, you get one of the best chipsets on the market, the famous Quest 2.0. It offers excellent responsiveness (0.001 second) and highly precise control of your vape, whatever mode you use.
Speaking of modes, Lost Vape spares us all the overly technical and rarely used options with the Centaurus M200 and focuses instead on two modes that are more than enough. You get a “Normal” mode for clearomisers with replaceable coils and an “RDA DIY” mode for rebuildable maestros.
Lost Vape has been creative with the Centaurus M200 controls, as almost everything is managed from its “fire” button. Lock the box mod with three successive clicks and adjust the wattage by turning the dial surrounding the button. As a practical and rather stylish extra, an LED indicates the battery level using five different colours for a pleasantly funky touch.
Purple LED: 100 to 80%
Green LED: 80 to 60%
Blue LED: 60 to 40%
White LED: 40 to 20%
Red LED: 20 to 0%

Under the screen, you will also find a small switch for turning the box mod on or off easily. No more hammering the fire button five times, and that is definitely appreciated.

Lost Vape has also done a great job on the aesthetics of its mod, with colourways ranging from understated to downright extravagant and an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy construction that combines strength with lightness.
More discreet users will appreciate the Midnight Blue and Gunmetal Gray versions, while more adventurous vapers will probably jump on the Golden Knight, Pink Planet and Galaxy Black models, complete with battery doors engraved with Art Deco-style patterns. Whatever the colour, the Centaurus M200 stands out with excellent finishes and is just waiting for your finest clearomiser, with a maximum diameter of 26 mm if you want to keep the setup flush.
And that is not all, friends. Lost Vape also offers two limited-edition colourways, “Splatoon” and “Dying Light”, each produced in just 8,888 units. So try not to be number 8,889.
