Ben Northon

Ben Northon: tobacco flavours from the Wild West

Picture a small town lost in the middle of the desert. The sun is beating down, the saloon doors are creaking and a figure appears at the far end of the main street. No need to ask his name: Ben Northon has just ridden into town.

Inspired by the world of the Wild West, this French brand has built its reputation around tobacco-flavoured recipes with very distinct personalities. From smooth blonde tobacco with floral notes to roasted and woody blends, every e-liquid tells its own story.

And just like in any good western, you do not need a long speech to know who has character.

The six Ben Northon legends on Freevap

Six names, six personalities and one rule: never underestimate a tobacco flavour walking into the saloon. Just like in The Magnificent Seven, each one has its own speciality. Well, we are one rider short, but legend has it the seventh fell during a legendary heist... or maybe it was a particularly nasty case of tuberculosis.

Indian Spirit: the rider of the open plains

Indian Spirit offers a tobacco flavour with delicate floral notes. A recipe that keeps the character of tobacco while adding a more nuanced, almost airy aromatic touch.

The kind of tobacco flavour that would rather gaze at the horizon than start a duel at every crossroads. A lone rider that does not need to raise its voice to get noticed.

Love Blond: a fistful of sweetness

Do not be fooled by its romantic name. Behind Love Blond lies a blonde tobacco flavour with nutty notes, including peanut, for a round and warming vape.

A recipe that recalls the natural beauty of the open plains. Proof that even in the Wild West, there is still a little room for tenderness. Clint Eastwood would probably have raised an eyebrow.

Black Horse: the good, the bad and the tobacco flavour

With Black Horse, things get a little more serious. This roasted and woody tobacco flavour develops a strong personality, with toasted notes that give it depth and character.

It is the kind of recipe that walks into the saloon without taking off its hat. A tobacco flavour for vapers who appreciate bold, deep flavours and tobacco profiles with real presence.

Gold Digger: the gold rush

With Gold Digger, we are heading straight for the gold mines and dusty lands of California. This smooth and sweet tobacco flavour delivers a warm vape, with a roundness that softens the character of the tobacco.

No need to turn the whole desert upside down, though: the nugget is right here.

Buffalo: the giant of the great plains

Buffalo wears its name rather well. This blonde tobacco flavour focuses on a direct and authentic tobacco taste, without trying to pile on extra flavour combinations. A recipe that gets straight to the point and gives the tobacco character plenty of room to speak.

Like the bison that once crossed the great plains, Buffalo is a true gentle giant.

Road Five: following the trail of floral notes

With Road Five, Ben Northon takes you along the endless trails of the American West. This blonde tobacco flavour with floral notes combines the familiar character of tobacco with a more delicate aromatic touch.

A recipe made for long journeys, when the sun disappears behind the mountains and the next town is still several miles away. An Ennio Morricone soundtrack is optional, but strongly recommended.

Shortfill or nicotine salts: choose your mount

In the Wild West, every rider had their mount. With Ben Northon, you can choose between two formats to enjoy your favourite tobacco flavours with the device that suits you.

Ben Northon Shortfill: the open plains in 50 mL

The Ben Northon Shortfills bring together all six recipes in the collection in a 50 mL nicotine-free format, with boosted flavouring designed to allow nicotine boosters to be added.

You can therefore enjoy your e-liquid at 0 mg/mL or customise your nicotine strength with one or two nicotine boosters, depending on the bottle capacity and the strength you are aiming for. Once the mixture is ready, all that remains is to fill your tank and hit the road again.

Ben Northon Nicotine Salts: a tobacco flavour that draws fast

The Ben Northon nicotine salt e-liquids bring back four of the brand’s iconic recipes: Indian Spirit, Love Blond, Black Horse and Gold Digger, in a ready-to-vape 10 mL format.

Nicotine salts provide a smoother throat sensation than freebase nicotine at an equivalent strength and are particularly well suited to vapers looking for higher nicotine levels.

These versions are especially suited to rechargeable pods and low-power e-cigarettes. No need to bring out the heavy artillery to enjoy a good tobacco flavour.

French tobacco e-liquids with a 50/50 PG/VG ratio

Ben Northon does not only take care of its western atmosphere. Its e-liquids are developed and manufactured in France and use a 50/50 PG/VG ratio, providing a balance between flavour delivery, throat hit and vapour production.

This versatile composition makes Ben Northon recipes suitable for a wide range of e-cigarettes, particularly pods and kits designed for MTL or moderate RDL vaping.

For nicotine salt versions, opt for a tighter draw and coils between 0.8 and 1.2 ohm, while following the recommendations for your device.

Why choose a Ben Northon e-liquid?

Because not every vaper wants to go hunting for extravagant flavour combinations. Ben Northon built its reputation on carefully crafted tobacco flavours, with enough nuance to satisfy both fans of smooth blonde tobacco and those looking for bolder blends.

Indian Spirit stands out for its floral notes, Love Blond for its nutty character, Black Horse for its roasted and woody profile, Gold Digger for its sweet smoothness, Buffalo for its blonde tobacco character and Road Five for its combination of blonde tobacco and floral notes.

Six complementary personalities brought together in a universe filled with open plains and old-school western atmosphere.
