Already familiar with Vaponaute DIY bases? Good news: they haven't really disappeared. They've simply been given a new name, a fresh new look, and are now part of Alfa DIY, the DIY range from Alfaliquid, the historic French manufacturer behind Vaponaute.
The Alfa DIY PG/VG Base 1L makes preparing your own e-liquids simple. Neutral in flavour and nicotine-free, it provides the ideal base for mixing your concentrated flavourings and, if required, nicotine boosters.
Its 1-litre format is ideal for vapers who regularly prepare DIY recipes and want to keep a generous supply of base on hand. It is available in 50/50 for a balanced, versatile vape, 30/70 for a smoother vape with denser vapour production, and 70/30 for a thinner base focused on flavour delivery and throat hit.

The Alfa DIY PG/VG Base 1L is a neutral base designed for DIY e-liquid preparation. It contains no flavourings and no nicotine. To create your own e-liquid, simply add a concentrated flavouring, then, if required, nicotine boosters to achieve your preferred nicotine strength.
This base continues the legacy of the former Vaponaute bases, now rebranded under Alfa DIY, Alfaliquid's DIY range. It's a change in branding only, ensuring continuity for vapers who already relied on Vaponaute bases for their homemade e-liquids.
The Alfa DIY Base 1L is available in three PG/VG ratios to suit different vaping styles, devices and personal preferences.
The 50/50 PG/VG ratio offers an excellent balance between flavour delivery, throat hit and vapour production. It is the most versatile option, suitable for the vast majority of e-cigarettes, particularly pod systems and tanks designed for MTL or restricted DTL vaping.
The 30/70 PG/VG ratio contains more vegetable glycerine. It delivers a smoother vape with denser vapour production and is better suited to more powerful devices and coils designed for high-VG e-liquids.
The 70/30 PG/VG ratio contains more propylene glycol. It provides a thinner base, enhances flavour delivery and produces a more pronounced throat hit. It is ideal for vapers looking for maximum flavour with less vapour density than a high-VG blend.
Pour the desired amount of base into a suitable bottle, add your concentrated flavouring according to the manufacturer's recommended dosage, then top up with nicotine boosters if you want a nicotine-containing e-liquid.
Once mixed, close the bottle and shake it thoroughly. Depending on the type of flavouring used, a steeping period may be required to allow the flavours to fully develop.
