The famous Xros from Vaporesso is back, and it's gone Pro! If it's put on a bit of weight it's to make room for a 1200 mAh battery and an Axon Chipset that lets you adjust your power up to 30W and take advantage of the Super Pulse for constant power no matter your battery level.

The Xros Pro pod boasts the ability to send out RDL quality vape especially once fitted with its Xros 0.4 ohm 3 ml cartridge. That's not to say that MTL vape enthusiasts are left out in the cold, as this pod is also compatible with other versions of the Xros cartridge (sold separately).

Vaporesso offers us here a pod with a quality design with a metal construction that doesn't make it ultra-light but delivers a very appreciable premium feel. In the centre of the pod a screen is elegantly concealed within the body of the Xros Pro itself and displays your mode or wattage, a puff meter as well as your battery level.

Pod Xros Pro: A premium look.

Let's start with its design, on which Vaporesso has made no concessions by offering an extremely well finished pod. Its metal body and shiny notes make a statement and ensure a premium look. At 86g on the scale, compared to other plastic pods, the Xros Pro is no featherweight, but this reinforces its qualitative and durable appearance.

Find a display nicely incorporated into the body of the pod that displays the current mode or wattage as well as a puff meter and your battery level. There's also a small LED to tell you your battery level, which can be turned off by pressing the fire button twice consecutively.

Pod Xros Pro: A puff that's always on point.

An important feature of the Xros Pro is its chipset Axon equipped with the Super Pulse function. Super Pulse ensures you always get a punchy, satisfying puff whether you're at 99% or 10% battery remaining. So you'll never come away frustrated from a puff taken on your Xros Pro.

Pod Xros Pro: Tailor-made vape.

Combining the wide variety of coils offered by Xros cartridges and the performance of the Xros Pro, there really is something to enjoy with a vape optimised for everyone's tastes, in both MTL and RDL.

With the Xros Pro pod, you get 30W of maximum power. Using the Xros 0.4 ohm cartridge supplied in this kit you can adjust your power with great precision (0.5 watt increments) by pressing the fire button three times. For the other Xros cartridge models (sold separately), you have three power presets which are Eco, Normal and Power, to access them it's the same thing: three presses on the fire button.

To further fine-tune all this, you'll find an adjustable airflow on the back of the pod. And finally you can choose your side between fire button activation or autodraw activation. Vaporesso has even installed a trigger on the side of the pod that lets you lock the fire button, so you can stash it safely in your pocket and your Xros Pro remains available for a quick puff on autodraw.

Pod Xros Pro: A battery that delivers.

The Pod Xros Pro packs an integrated 1200 mAh battery, so you can vape for up to two consecutive days on a single charge with average use. What's more, the Xros Pro pod supports 2A fast charging via its USB-C port (cable supplied), so a 0-100% recharge of your pod will take just 35 minutes.

Xros 0.4 ohm cartridge: the RDL sensation!

The Xros Pro pod kit contains two Xros 0.4 ohm 3 ml cartridges that will let you explore all its RDL potential. If you prefer a tight MTL draw, Vaporesso hasn't forgotten you, as all the other Xros cartridges (sold separately) also work with the Xros Pro. The coils in the Xros cartridges feature Corex Inside technology to ensure top flavours and a denser vapour.

Xros 0.4 ohm cartridge: RDL draw - 20W to 30W - PG50/VG50 to PG30/VG70 ratio - Recommended nicotine levels up to 6 mg/ml.

Filling the Xros 0.4 ohm cartridge:

Clip off the drip tip.
Fill with e-liquid.
Put back drip tip, make sure it is firmly in place.

Replacing the Xros 0.4 ohm cartridge:

Remove the used cartridge.
Install a new cartridge.
Caution: If the coil is new, prime it well by letting it soak in e-liquid for 10 minutes before vaping.
